I wish more drs. did this surgery. I live in an area where there are several medical centers and teaching hospitals. There are SO many doctors in every discipline you might need available...EXCEPT I can't find a dr. who does this surgery, & I have asked pain drs, my orthopedist, PTs, and neurosurgeons if they know anyone who does this surgery. They don't. It's incredibly frustrating. I have piriformis syndrome & have not had success from injections or PT.

Same as I am. I can only dream of being helped this surgeon, as I exist in poverty. Best I can do for relief is take Sciaticare, which helps my pain greatly. I order it from Amazon. I love this doctor, but only wealthy people are able to get his help. 😢😢😢

I’m recently having shooting pains in my abdominal skin. It’s shocking! So intense and painful! Prior to this, for the last 4 weeks or more I am having a crampy type pain all around the right side and around into my back. I get sudden, painful spasms as well. The only relief I can find is hot water baths. Once out of the tub, it all comes back. I go from my recliner to my bed to the bath and rotate this cycle all day and night. I manage to sleep due to exhaustion but not for enough hours and always wake due to intense pain. Any ideas?

I had a very bad experience with a surgeon in Papillion/NE (Dr. Aguila) who does the same type of surgeries as this surgeon - eleven months after my surgery for post herpetic neuralgia pain, I'm in more pain than before the surgery. As part of patients' rights, he had an obligation to explain to me all the risks of the proposed surgery - he didn't do it in my case. Before the surgery, his prep nurse and his anesthesiologist both promised that he would come to see me in the prep room on the day of the surgery and that he'll go with me over the details of my surgery and answer all my questions. He didn't show up. He also didn't show up to check on me after the surgery. The anesthesiologist also didn't show up after the surgery to check on me, even though he kept me for six hours under with Ketamine (he also didn't bother to explain the risks of anesthesia). Right after I woke up in the recovery room, I was told to dress and leave the hospital (Papillion Family Hospital owned by Family Hospital Systems/TX). The surgical team took pictures of me during the surgery, without my consent. All this for twenty thousand dollars in cash, since this surgeon doesn't accept any insurance.

I have meralgia paresthetica for 7 years. It gets better then comes back BAD!!!! i wore a SI back brace belt working on the line at General motors .8 hours a day . I worse it too tight but didnt know that it could cause meralgia paresthetica paresthetica. A neurologist checked me and said that is what it is .with emg test. I want this nerve cut. CUT THIS HEFFER so this pin poking burning pain is gone forever. Im not trying this trying that ANYMORE!! Cant get pain meds because drs are affraid of getting in trouble with our government and whomever. Im loosing my mind. I cant take it.anymore. i have to freeze my thigh with ice packs to get relief.
